## Travel & Events - AFC Ajax

As travel and event manager at AFC Ajax, I am responsible for the operational organisation, travel logistics and high-standard hospitality around international matches and large-scale Ajax events for corporate relations, sponsors and VIP delegations.

The core of my work is travel management for European away matches in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. I provide full travel guidance for business members to destinations such as London, Madrid, Milan, Lisbon, Berlin, Paris, Villarreal and Baku — including charter flights, luxury transfers and exclusive VIP programmes. Every detail is aimed at giving guests a seamless, high-standard experience, from departure to return.

I also coordinate the hospitality events in and around the Johan Cruijff ArenA during home matches — before, during and after — with an eye for exclusivity and the highest level of service. These events include the annual, exclusive Ajax Gala and the charity Matchday in aid of the Ajax Foundation.

##                           Incentives - Wens Business Events

## As tour and event manager at Wens Business Events, I am responsible for the advance planning and on-site delivery of corporate ski and incentive trips for Dutch companies.

From the first planning stage to delivery on site: I take care of the complete travel and event logistics, with an eye for hospitality at the highest level. My work takes me to a wide range of destinations in Austria, Morocco, Spain, Croatia, Germany, Czechia, Ireland, England and Iceland.

Every trip calls for its own approach — from coordinating suppliers and venues to accompanying the group on site, so that everything runs seamlessly, even when plans change. For clients who expect the highest level, this translates into service, discretion and attention down to the smallest detail.

## D-Day Tours - Wens Travel

As project and tour manager at Wens Travel, I am responsible for composing and organising the Normandy D-Day Tours. This tour returns every year and is organised for American groups — from veterans, orchestras, high school students, marching bands and choirs to military personnel.
My responsibility covers the complete logistical planning, usually involving more than fifty coaches, the recruitment of tour managers and the management of local partners on site. The preparation is thorough and detailed, so that delivery runs seamlessly.
The tour takes the groups along the historic sites of Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc, American cemeteries, Sainte-Mère-Église and Mont Saint-Michel, finishing in Paris. Along the way, participants pay tribute — often in music — to the victims of the Second World War.
It is an honour to be part of this every year.

## Music, Performance & Ice Hockey Tours - Wens Travel

As a tour manager at Wens Travel I have by now guided more than a hundred tours through Europe, most of them centred on music and performances. I have accompanied bands, orchestras and choirs from the United States, Canada and Australia. An average concert tour lasts around ten days, with four to five performances per tour — in concert halls, churches and cathedrals, but also outdoors.

The work is dynamic and varied: every tour brings new destinations, groups and circumstances, spread across the whole of Europe. That calls for flexibility and quick adjustment, from logistical preparation to guidance on site. Besides the performances, I organise local activities such as exchanges with local universities, masterclasses with renowned musicians, city tours and visits to major landmarks. No two tours are the same, and that variety is exactly what makes the profession challenging and fascinating.

The same dynamic applies to the ice hockey tours I organise and guide at Wens Travel for various Canadian clubs, including The Heartbreakers and The Ottawa Puck Hogs. They return to Europe regularly to experience culture during their tour and to play matches against local teams.

Event Manager CarbageRun - CRUM eventravel

## As event manager of the Carbage Run I am responsible for the tight organisational build-up. As soon as the run begins I am on site, working intensively to absorb unforeseen situations, direct the field and catering team, liaise with local authorities and safeguard safety. Where hundreds of cars, daily challenges and temporary campsites come together, I make quick decisions on dropouts, route changes at bottlenecks and the atmosphere at the finish locations.

During the run I am physically present in the travelling organisation team: I set up start and finish locations, oversee vehicle inspection, hand out the daily challenges, process results and act as the point of contact for breakdowns, emergencies and issues with local authorities. In the evening I host at the campsite, present the prize ceremony and keep order.

As event manager I make sure that hundreds of cars carrying thousands of participants reach the finish safely, on time and with an unforgettable experience.
